The city of Baja hosts the annual Hurka and sausage festival on the 22nd of February. Baja is the county town of Bacs-Kiskun county, located in the South of Hungary and can be easily reached within a couple of hours from Budapest by train or car. The enchanting town is famous of its fish soup and meat industry.
If you want to try real Hungarian dishes, homemade sausages produced by local formers and butchers, learn about the recipes then visit this lovely town on the 22nd of February.
